Anyways something i noticed, and I'm sure its been pointed out before, is on Episode one, namely at 20:38 during the big Nightmare Moon reveal. We see Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo cowering together, pic related.

At first I went, "Oh okay this takes place further along in the season then" then I realized that dosn't fit as Twilight dosn't become friends with everyone/move to ponyville till the end of episode 2. And the CMC dosn't all get together or meet each other till episode 12.

Obviously this is just because the timeline/story board for the series wasn't set in stone considering ep 1 & 2 were pilot episodes but this still messes up my pony timeline!

The hard part is figuring out which source is the true colors scheme. The pictures on the website have different colors from the webrips, which have different colors from the iTunes rips, which have different colors from the HD rips.

The only way we'd get the true colors is if an animator leaked their Flash element library or something.

I find it rather hilarious that the director/co-writer's other work is Torque. A thing they actually reference in the film in quite a hilarious way.

I say this without actually seeing Clerks, but if what I understand of that movie is true (I did see the second one), it might not be all that much of a stretch to call Detention the next generation's Clerks. Things like it's personally funded, just as Kevin Smith did to his own movie.

But I digress from pony. And I don't want to oversell Detention. Obviously, I went in there with no expectations and was very, very pleasantly surprised.

Still.
