I will not be surprised if the bird really ends up being a Phoenix and it was meant to die so it could be reborn but Fluttershy's care only prolonged it's agony and delayed the cold, releasing embrace of death.

I'm calling it right now. the last episode of the first season will end with a huge cliffhanger.

Mere moments after my attempt to smile, Fluttershy averted her gave from my direction. She retracted her wings, and rolled herself into a ball. Her high pitched whimpers ceased and I was easily able to drag her petrified body into the wooden cottage.

Alright, so when I was writing my Pinkie Pie story, I was lying in bed last night falling asleep, and I was thinking about how I was going to write it. I must have been close to falling asleep, because I sort of half dreamed myself sitting in front of my computer typing it up. I get to a point in the story where it gets a little bit meta, and then Pinkie jumps out of my screen at me. Sort of an unholy mash up of Samarra, that Pinkie/demon face flash animation thing, and the final "I'm as real as the people reading this" panel from The Unfunnies.

It was horrible. I'm not saying I got back up to make pudding. But it did take me awhile to fall asleep after that.

So, I learned something today. I learned that if you have any kind of request that is not OC based on a new episode and you post that request on a Friday, the chances of it getting filled are greatly reduced.
