There would be no point in a show like this. The target demographic goes to a group that doesn't care about that kind of thing and the ones outside of the target like it just fine the way it is. Its hasbro so I could imagine they have the funding for such a project and I'd be fine with it.

I wouldn't even say flash is the medium, it's more like a tool. The medium is the digital/vector format, which I'm pretty sure every single animation studio out there in 2011 uses in some capacity.

The toys are not really that off-model. The gift set with Celestia looks really good, and even the ones with the brushable hair can be made to look pretty on-model with a bit of effort.
