"Fluttershy's Birthday"
As usual, the episode opens up with a whole year passing, and each pony celebrating their own day of birth, except for Fluttershy. Usually in the other B-day parties, she's seen in the back being quiet and shy. She doesn't want to celebrate her own because she's too shy for big parties like that, but also because she doesn't want to interrupt the other ponies while they party, so they leave her alone.
Pinkie Pie considers this a crime against nature that she doesn't want a party and decides to help throw a party for her. She doesn't know what to do that Fluttershy would like though, so she transitions into a montage I like to call "Metal Gear Pink: Cake Eater". She dresses up in camo to see what Fluttershy likes in her parties, and when she gathers all the info, she gets Twilight and the gang to help her throw a party, even getting Angel to help.
With the party set, Twilight invites Fluttershy to her house in the library and the party gets thrown. Fluttershy of course is taken back in total surprise and shyly thanks everyone half heartedly and in a low tone. |
