More than likely not. But odds are in my favor that nothing will happen for a few reasons.
1.) Target demographic
Fans like us of the current series are so far out of the target demographic that the chance there will ever be merch for adult males are slim to none, unless Hasbro wants to break out into the adult-male-MLP-clothing market.
2.) Amount sold
I highly doubt I've ever going to sell enough to warrant a lawsuit, it'd just be a gigantic loss on Hasbro's end. At most, I'd expect a cease and desist, and that'd be the end.
3.) Past evidence shows Hasbro won't do anything
Shoe Brony has been selling shoes for months, and by now they would have been pulled off Zazzle.
4.) What I'm doing with the commission money
Shoe Brony took his commission money and bought an absolute fuckload of MLP toys to give to the Salvation Army in December.
When I start making a substantial amount, like I've stated before, I'm donating it all to Hasbro Children's Hospital. It's only fitting the money goes to something they opened, after all.
But, if Hasbro DID want to make adult-male-MLP clothing, and it wasn't straight-up awful, I'd take the store down in respect for their brand ownership. |
