The Rarity focus lately have been fun, but i have actually found the little jokes as fun or more than the main focus of the episodes.

Such as Raritys "Muahaha" laugh in Sonic Rainboom, and when she claws her way out of the hole when kidnapped by the Diamond Dogs then stops and looks at her hooves in horror and goes "Aah, Dirt!!"

Still Rarity have rapidly risen to the top of the pony cast.

Will be interesting to see if they can do the same to the rest of the cast.

Everyone loves the Rainbow Dash one. I put the most effort into that one. Twilight I couldn't come up with a decent joke for, although I've got a new idea for it that is less awful, and Fluttershy was done just because I wanted to have the .psd ready when I find a proper font/make a proper period for the font I originally wanted to use.

It probably doesn't help that TS and Fluttershy are my least favorite of the mane cast, even though they're still great. I promise everyone they'll get cleaned up though.

Believe it or not, it's the color off of the butterflies from Fluttershy's cutie mark. I went and changed it to the wing color, and it looks a lot better.

I think that's the biggest sign I should probably get some sleep, that really was a poor color choice.

When I get up, this is the agenda:
- Clean up Fluttershy's text fully, maybe find a better font
- Figure out a better reference for Twilight because I hate the current one
- Do Applejack's shirt
- Get the Spreadshirt shop ready for shirt uploading

Between "Sonic Rainboom" and this episode are only the two CMC episodes. So it´s nothing special that this episode is the best since Sonic Rainboom ;)

For me, "Stare Master" wasn´t bad (awesome Fluttershy moments) and "Show Stopper" second half was very nice. In Diamond Dogs Rarity was annoying and the dogs more worse than good, at the end not really good.


But people are so happy to see the mainpony again, that they forgot about much better episodes :)

The "story" usually sucks. The story is just a vehicle that drives the dialogue and character interactions.

Very few episodes in MLP are about "what happens." They're almost always about how the characters react to shit. I won't go so far as to say the show is a character study (because, let's face it, it's a cartoon), but the plots are thin and not-fully-realized for a reason - they're not the priority.
