Even so, I've been looking into this, and most of the places I was looking at offer a variety of materials, some of which are at least suitable for what most bronies would want:

This stuff seems like it'd hit "good enough" quality for making custom and/or "action figure" ponies, especially given that most bronies seem to want them as little desk buddies more than anything else.
