03/05/11(Sat)09:18 No.24031651>>24031538 Image not made by me, though it brushes against the point I was trying to get to. Also, I don't want to discuss this here. Love, however, doesn't exist, in any form. The individual only works for itself and manifests in such a way. To explain selflessness in this respect is a tough one and the language barrier between Dutch and English keeps me from explaining my point properly in English.
Speaking as a solipsist, I agree with this: >'I'd generally try to have fun and do those things which I enjoy while avoiding boring and unenjoyable things.' You can ponder over philosophy until the eagle chokes, but it is ultimately how it manifests for YOU. Just think of it as this: The adversities you encounter every day, do you really want to overcome them, or do they actual make life, ironically, more vivid and entertaining?
I hope you respect my choice, as I respect your opinion, to not digress into a hopeless discussion that would be filled with miscommunication. |
