In case anypony cares, I also made the They Live! poster, and cropped "Dat ass" out of the Dash shades pic. I hadn't seen it until a couple of weeks ago, and I initially tuned in because Keith David (voice of Gargoyles' Goliath) was in it.

Cartoons have always been a big part of my life; watching Tom and Jerry cartoons on channel 4 in the afternoons, right after the translator station list was displayed; watching original Mighty Mouse, Underdog, Woody Woodpecker, and Gumby in the mornings; discovering Tranzor Z (Mazinger Z) on a UHF station at a time of day my sitter insisted there were no cartoons on TV. Voltron, Silverhawks, Thundercats, and the single episode of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors I managed to see.

And yet Hasbro's two main toons, Transformers G1 and MLP G1, are connected to some of my earliest memories. I remember watching the Glow Worms segment inbetween Pony segments, and leaving the room while my sisters watched the Pony segments.

34yo male convert here. Last weekend, I saw all the episodes in a row. Felt good, man. And I really enjoyed today's episode.
I'm hard onto Transformers, but I had to have some ponies of my own. So, I bought the tiniest ones. They are pretty show accurate, have no messy hair, and they are tiny, making them way less obvious/creepy to have than the normal ones. Unfortunately, Applejack don't have her hat. Hey, I don't post on /co/ that often, but I hear you guys are the go-to ones for pony pics.

I'm looking for the one where there's fluttershy, and then SHE EXPLODES, but that's not the end of it, because she then proceeds to EXPLODE AGAIN.

Twilight Sparkle is the baseline of the MLP game. She's a great, solid matchup against anyone else, with excellent mixup and her teleport gives her great overhead attacks.

Rainbow Dash uses a hyper fast game to rushdown the opponent, to break an enemy's guard as fast as possible. She's pretty weak on defense, though.

Applejack uses a variety of melee attacks to fight the enemy up close, but her speed leaves something to be desired outside of very close in melee.

Twilight sparkle is my favorite character right after Pinky Pie. She's smart, but also kinda alien to the normal Pony ways. So, through her, we discover their world. Also, she got style!

I was really glad that they had Derpy be in charge of the mini games and the gallery mode instead of being an in game character. It keeps all of the fandom happy. FYI while at the gallery loading screen if you rotate BOTH sticks you can make her eyes spin faster. If you do it fast enough the effect will stay until you exit gallery mode.

Oh yeah Rarity is great she hits surprisingly hard and combos really well off of her FABULOUS BEAM projectile that causes a wall bounce if you use the fierce attack button for the input and her OPAL SCRATCH anti air can keep the slower Characters like Big Mac and AJ at bay. Her FABULOUS ILLUSION level 1 super slows down the opponent too making them even easier to combo. I also really like that her throw animation is her magicing rolls of fabric to grab them. Doesnt do all that much damage but it stuns them for a second.

I'm already not liking Snips and Snails. Trixie wins simply for the magician outfit, though.

Apple Jack for me is a REALLY mixed bag. She is kind of slow but she has a very spam able projectile in her APPLE LAUNCHER . Not to mention her lasso makes both her regular throw and HOGTIE command throw have amazing range. Not to mention that HOGTIE leaves them tied up for a second or two. But since she is slow she has trouble getting in to hit them with hard combos which can EASILY do half of their health. That being said her APPLEBUCK level 1 super makes apples rain from the sky and can hit OTG and combos great after a HOGTIE. Also her STAMPEDE level 3 command throw summons a stampede of cows to cover her if it wiffs.

I love the game for it's technical aspects, but you're already discussing that, so I'll just say that I like the aesthetic touches they added. The dialogue choices are great (Fluttershy's "How DARE you?!" before her stare super, and Dash's "Ten seconds flat!" right after Sonic Rainboom), and I like the personalized intros (especially when you have Applejack vs. Rarity).

Probably to the point of not needing some, unless it included additional factors in the language that aren't followed in english. I feel the exact same way. Lauren originally said we were getting male characters along the lines of The Gangreen Gang. I have no idea how she came to the conclusion that Snips & Snails resembled them in any shape or form.

I dunno, I think Zecora makes a great dark horse character. Sure the rhyming calling of attacks gets annoying after a while, but the Poison Joak super...

Gilda is a really fast character that hits really hard for her speed. But she really lacks a way to deal with projectiles. A good way to circumvent this is by using her GRIFFIN DIVE special move which puts her above almost ALL projectiles and comes down on top of the opponent for good damage (the range depends on the attack button used). When you get in close her TALON SWIPE special is devastatingly fast and has the first hit has armor on it making it easy to land. From there you can input different attack buttons to have the combo end differently. The light leaves them standing, the Medium wall bounces and the fierce button launches them which leads to air combos which are one of Gilda's strengths. Her level 1 SUPER TALON SWIPE be comboed after a TALON SWIPE ending in a light attack. It is a standard super that comes out lightning quick and hits pretty hard. Her level 3 Super puts Gilda in RAGE MODE which adds armor to ALL her attacks and makes the faster and stronger. If you switch out her assists will also have this boost.
