Look, I am not a neighsayer, and i know it was not mentioned specifically in the rules. -But there was a discussion with some mod who said that image limit and bump limit was not a good enough reason to making new threads. We are using the thread finder anyway so finding threads past bump limit is not much of a bother. - Both this thread, and the last one where made with the "image limit reached header". while a larger active thread still existed. The new rules do not really concern MLP threads at all, only trolls. So the least we could do is try and act courteously.

Oh, and I use sage because technically I do not want to bump the thread with stupid whining. Not because I try to piss you off.

My Little Ponies is sort of like Nanoha these days. Both are put on television networks at UNGODLY hours when no one will watch them aside from fans of the series.

Both feature predominantly female casts and both have mostly adult male fans. Though you could argue Nanoha intentionally went out of the way for those fans and gave up on even considering the younger audience.

We have no way of knowing what the actual demographic breakdown is, but consider that the show is usually on at an inconvenient time for its target audience and is on a new channel that a lot of households don't get.

The funny thing is, I watched it with a friend of mine who is a pony-fanatic, has like a room full of pony toys, and she hates the new show. She says it's too unlike the old one.

Opinions vary. Some people loved the first two episodes, others claim that the best place to start is about episode 3-4.

I always recommend that you watch the first 4-5 episodes in sequence. I like the first two episodes, but overall, I can agree with people that they're not really representative for the rest of the show. I do realize that sinking 4-5 episodes into something you may not like from the get-go sounds a bit much, though.
