The only reason TS solves every problem is because she's marginally smarter than the other ponies. I love MLP, but ponies can be dumb as bricks sometimes.

But the show tells us that even TS is not invincible. I mean, she started out all rational about the scary zebra-witch, but quickly fell to the other ponies' influence and became just as paranoid as they were. A proper Mary Sue would have either solved that episode herself, or been entirely the victim while everyone else bemoaned the horrors that fell upon their favorite bestest friend in the whole wide world.

Details 'bout what, the dream? It was just one of those obscure "oh weird shit is happening but my subconscious is just going to pretend this is all normal and boring" dreams. I was on a beach at night, and all the clouds were very dense and purple-black, hanging in clusters only about 10 feet above the ocean level. Luna was using the clouds as stepping stones as she couldn't stand on the earth for some reason, and she was following me everywhere along the beach and telling me what to do. Like "keep going that way, hey check out those shells for me", yadda yadda. Was kinda cute in retrospect, though.

And UMM there's sketch work in this, I tend to not save my unfinished sketches for things I ink or finish though, since I wind up blowing them up 300% then deleting them. D:
