Dear Diary,
The week has been an eventful one. Lyra has been settling in and finished moving her things. Together, we cleared out the storage room for her own little den, so we can have people over to play games. It has a miniature jousting table and everything!
She'll sleep with me, of course, I have a nice big bed to cuddle together on. Only problem is where to put some of her stuff, but we can figure it out eventually. Worse comes to worse we just buy a new cabinet.
Recently I learned that she eats like a rabbit. Until now, I thought she was just trying to be polite... I miss the pudgy little filly I knew since grade school. Oh well, I can change that! She's always loved my baking anyways. It seems like my sweets are the sweet thing she eats, the poor thing. No wonder she's gotten so thin since high school.
Aside from that, she's settling in nicely. I'm trying to get her to nap after meals more. Helps with digestion, and she really neesd to fill out. I think I'm going to need a larger bed eventually if Lyra plumps up as big as she used to be, but that won't be for a while.
I'm planning to make her a nice big batch of cinnimon rolls for breakfast tomorrow. It's a new recipe, different spices. I got it from an old cookbook from the Library... Recipes from Bridal Port. Mostly fish-based, but has some nice looking desserts. I'll see how she likes it!
