Here's a tip for obtaining a pic: identify (by name or example-pic) the drawfag you're asking, or if it's to accompany a fic you're writing, say so. You may even want to ask them via deviantArt comment system.
You get exactly what you pay for. If you pay them in the currency of attention and ego-stroking, ir an idea they think would be interesting to draw, you may get a drawing. If you commission them $5 or $10 in PayPal, you'll get a better response, generally. If you just say, "Hey drawfags, gimme a pic of Luna gently kissing Fluttershy on the cheek while FS blushes, and Angel is in the background eating a carrot while watching," there's no guarantee (even if you're a respected tripfag) that you'll get any response.
If you're asking for a specific reaction pic, and nopony provides it, you may be better off finding the episode on YouTube or megaupload and screencapping it, as long as you can identify which episode and scene it's from.
Also, drama never helps. This is a loose community of Anonymous and tripfags ruled by custom and whim, not a dedicated email discussion list with community rules. |
