So far Rarity and Rainbow have been pretty dynamic. Arguably Pinkie and Twilight too.

Fluttershy and AJ are noticeably more stale and flat than the others. I think it's okay though, for Fluttershy at least, she's just a low-key character. Part of her personality. Some people are like that.

I think it's nice that the Fluttershy Defense Force is so adamant. It shows that a lot of people really like her. I personally am part of the Trixie Defense Force, but our ranks have had to do less and less work of late. People don't bust on Trixie's character anywhere near as much as they used to.

Other more popular characters strangely enough, like Rainbow Dash, have very lazy defense forces. I see people rip on Rainbow Dash all the time and nobody seems to care.

Fluttershy is only my 5th place pick, but I still like her, and as is the case with so many of the main six, I usually hate her archetype. But she's just so goddamn adorable. And I like that even when she stands up for herself, it's not counter to her personality. When she scolded the dragon, she did it in a motherly fashion. Her cheering loudly for Dash was an indication of how excited she was. She couldn't do it like that in practice because it wasn't entirely genuine.

Yep. As the Gilda episode shows us, a good prank is fine if it's in good clean fun and everyone knows you didn't mean any harm by it. Which is why they thought better of pulling a prank on Fluttershy because she's easily scared and would take offence to it. If Trixie weren't serious, she certainly did nothing to show it. When your audience starts taking offence to your satirical humor, you don't keep calling them thick, you adapt and alter your routine until they laugh again.
