I just watched mentos' iTunes rip of the first episode, and it looks and sounds fantastic. Specially the sound, since it's does not have Dynamic Range Compression at all as the HDTV rips (means it isn't filtered to have the same volume over most of the video, like any TV transmission, which makes it sound less powerful for scenes that require it)

Also I noticed in Derpy's first appearence that her mouth looks like chewing something. It's the first time I see it, I don't recall it in the HDTV rip (probably was there too and didn't catch it, but it's unnoticeable in non-HD versions)
