All this silly lesbian Dash vs straight Dash actually inspired a story idea for me.

Rainbow Dash flies off with the two Bolts, and as soon as they're alone, they start putting the moves on her. She says no, weren't we just gonna hang out and fly around? "Pssh" they say, "We're the Wonderbolts. All the fillies want us." But Dash just wanted to hang, so they call her lame and leave.

Over the next few days, Dash is quite depressed that her big heroes turned out to be such a bunch of jerks and starts snapping at everyone. Then it's up to her friends (probably Pinkie in general) to cheer her up.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE NEW EPISODE TIME!!!!

1. After so many plots wherein Rainbow was a best a sharp tongued jerk and at worst a thoughtless bitch, its nice to see the writers go out of their way to show off her delicate side. Running the emotional spectrum of self-doubt and fear really made her feel more sympathetic.

2. While Rarity`s wings were probably meant as a shout-out to the Flutter ponies from the movie, I still got an image of Bayonetta in my head. This is the second time after ``Suited for Success`` with those glasses.

3. More fuel to the whole ``Equistria is a class based soceity`` fire. Cloudsdale is named as one of the most important cities, yet only one third of the population can even STAND THERE! That`s some extreme social segregation.

4. Cloudsdale looks like Olympus from Disney`s Hercules, the guards by Celestia even had the buzz cut manes.

5. This show is starting to show an anti-male bias IMO: think about it. The only named male characters we`ve had have either been drooling morons or bullying meat-heads. I also feel the last line and shot of Rainbow abandoning the attentions of hyper masculine males men to hang with the Wonderbolts is just one more piece of evidence...

6. Rarity in full make-up is pretty creepy. Why didn`t she kiss Rainbow after the rescue, leaving a nice lipstick imprint?

If there's another episode centered around Pinkie Pie, I want to see one where she throws a big party. It'd be nice to see one that showcases her socialite side, rather than her spontaneous side. There's some quicky YouTubes up already but for the higher rez ones (Mast3rLinxx / mylittlepony1080p) Anon really is going to have to learn patience. Those guys work from the TrollHD raw masters which means you have to pull >2Gigs off of Usenet, Transcode it to a size that YouTube will accept, and then re-upload it and wait for YouTube to do it's in-house transcoding. Thats many many hours of transfer time and computer processing.

Even if you gave me the physical master tape for the episode (and I've got about ten grand of video encoding gear sitting right in front of me right now) I couldn't get a 1080p stream up on YouTube in less than 4-5 hours... and these guys are essentially trying to pull master quality encodes off of Usenet.

Don't mean to jump down your throat OP, but it's frustrating to see bronies impatiently bitching for YouTubes when they clearly don't understand the work required by the folks who do the really nice encodes that everyone pulls their reaction images from.

There were loads of pegasi which were just Ponyville citizens with wings. They're not intended to be the same characters, but they could at least do a color swap (there was a color swapped Granny Smith pegasus).

Caramel, the Doctor, and Lyra were all spotted as pegasi without recolors though (although I did see one or two Caramel recolors as well).
