You have a ton of orders you can set, as well as distances to engage at (for weapon ranges, to stay out of theirs or close in with yours). The armors and weapons have variants on variants. The customization is sick if you can get into that sort of thing, and there is some more depth to be had with spatial anomalies prohibiting the use of things (like no shields, no fighters, speed increased but weapon range decreased, that sort of thing).
It's good if you plan/anticipate well, but reaction speed is not a factor. recent DLC (bleh) made it so you fight fleets/ships other players have designed in a "take over the universe" style mode, too, so limitations there were removed.
also, alien shooter 2 reloaded. 5bux, diablo meets resident evil and elements of fallout. best mindless fun I've had in a while, made by russians, and the other games they have take bad translation to a new level by making the voice actors actually act out the horrid translation. I'd say DL those, but alien shooter 2 reloaded is worth 5bux. |
