a general thread, but the biggest complaint I
see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of bump limit, and is at the

is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Feeling Pinkie Keen was a great episode.

Twilight was ignoring all the evidence that proved statistically, and empirically, that Pinkie had an ability to predict things, to stick with her own preconceived notions of how things worked.

The episode chronicles the triumph of the scientific method over an irrational and emotional adherence to the status quo.

And if you don't see that, you don't understand science.

Ok /co/. I went and watched the pilot episodes. It certainly wasn't bad, and the animation was very good for a TV show, but I still don't get it. The characters and plot seem pretty generic and I'm not sure I can get in to the whole "friendship is awesome wooooooo" plot. Am I just to cynical to enjoy the show, or does it get better?

The first few episodes aren't very indicative. Lauren Faust wanted a sailor moon type adventure show, and it ended up being a slice of life moeny series where sometimes there's an episode with a monster in it.

Apparently, there is continuity, but mostly minor things. Which is good, because some episodes are out of order.

There is some build up to the finale at the Grand Galloping Gala, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the plot stumble drunkenly back into the show for a bit in the last episode or two. For the most part though, it's a little K-ON and a little slapstick comedy. With ponies.

Hasbro already sells blank ponies. They should start a section of the website for create-a-ponies. Select the pony type, color, eye color, and hair color (up to 2 colors), as well as a cutie mark from a large selection, based on older toys as well as background characters from the cartoon.

Best of all, the game doesn't generate a cutie mark to match your choices, like you would assume.
