see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of bump limit, and is at the

is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Okay, /co/lts and fillies, let's clear this up right now.

I primarily study Unicorn Magic. It is a natural phenomenon, an ability of Unicorns such as myself, in the same way that Pegasi and Griffons can walk on clouds. It has specific visible effects, and follows specific rules.

There are scientific areas of study in the field. Where does mass come from, and where does it go, when materials are enlarged or reduced in size? Why is concentration of various sorts required for certain Magical activities, such as transmutation, while others, such as teleportation, can occur seemingly spontaneously, or in times of distress?

I also study Dragon Magic, but since I'm not a Dragon, I can't use it myself. Spike is my aide, and is very helpful in describing his experiences with his own innate abilities.

Let me make it clear: horns are scientifically proven to be the only source of Unicorn Magic.

So when Pinkie Pie started displaying pseudo-Magical abilities, I was obviously intrigued, and a bit weirded out. (Okay, you all saw me; a LOT weirded out.) I thought my studies had been all for nothing. After a day or so to think about it, I realized I had gone about my testing all wrong. The machine was designed only to seek the electromagnetic/gravitic effects that Unicorn Magic produces.

Pinkie Pie's "Pinkie Sense" instead appears to be co-incidental with the events she predicts. I wouldn't be surprised to find out it has something to do with quantum closed timelike loops. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised at much, by this point.

I'm glad she opened my eyes to my incomplete view of the world, and reminding me that being scientific doesn't mean knowing everything about something, it just means knowing enough.

Guys I really need some reassurance. Between the drama over the moral in today's episode, the whole derpy thing, and the fact that this was also the first episode I actually had to wait for after taking the plunge on monday, it's been a real emotional rollercoaster. These ponies have become pretty dear to me

Ponies... ponies aren't over are they? I want them to be still be cool, AT LEAST until this first season is over, and hopefully for several more seasons. Some of you will still watch with me right? Through thick and thin? Some people have been declaring this the worst episode when I really liked it. Maybe it wasn't that great in reality but I thought it was good. Pinkie Pie was in top form and while she didn't sing, it was definitely a good, solid, and funny episode. Twilight Sparkle even did that awesome thing with the flame! That was neat.

I can dig that it had a lot of classic cartoony stuff but it felt too cartoony for me, and not like the rest of the series. I also thought the episode as a whole was just all over the place and not organized well; Pinkie was yapping about "X+Y+Z means this but Y+Z+X means that but Z+X means this" etc etc, I had a headache from watching it.
