On 1s, 24fps. The show aired in SD with 1:1:1:2 pulldown (every fourth frame doubled) at 30fps, and in HD it ran in native 24 frames per second. This gif runs at 25fps because GIF doesn't support 24fps.

All animated shows run in SD in some sort of 2:3 pulldown with negligible exceptions, because 24fps is standard for animation, and 30 fps is standard for SD television. To Hub's credit they use a good 2:3 pulldown method (1:1:1:2) so there are no blurry frames. Went on a little tangent there, but the point is the show airs in the best quality possible both in SD and HD.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Twilight's failure in this episode was dismissing a possible hypothesis due to personal preconceptions. She dismissed the possibility of Pinkie Pie having some sort of magical sixth sense that manifests via bodily twists even though they produce consistently accurate predictions that had been witnessed by multiple townsfolk over a long period of time. And by doing so, she opened herself up for disaster as she desperately groped for some other explanation that didn't clash with her personal beliefs.

This episode was a condemnation of closed-mindedness, which is about as direct an attack as you can make against organized religion on a children's show.
