all right, first time ever drawing, I know I derped up the outlines being lighter than the fill in, and everything is kind of sloppy. for some reason, MS paint had some sort of softening on everything that left sketch artifacts everywhere when I used the selective eraser tthing the other guide told me about. I know the proportions are slightly off, but only just, and that the tail is complete crap, but I don't know how to make it not crap. anyone wanna help this new drawfoal out with anything else I got wrong and give some general advice? next time I'm going to just scan it in instead of tracing over the tablet.

I've finished up to part 6. I think I can finish it in two more segments. That said, they won't be for awhile. Probably the end of next week.

I'm currently working on two different fairly large stories I'm a bit more excited about and hope to post in their complete form early next week. I'm shooting for Valentine's day.

Oh -- and this is a bit of a pet peeve so I apologize if I overreact a bit -- the ellipsis is NOT how you convey a long pause in speech. In most cases you are FAR better off using normal punctuation like commas, full stops, etc. In the rare case where you want to indicate a notable, audible pause you'll usually want to convey that outside of the actual dialogue. The em dash is sometimes acceptable, but I'd shy away from it for that purpose.

Using the ellipsis like that makes your work come across as very immature; that's how teenagers type on the internet.
