see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of bump limit, and is at the

is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

I agree, sketches almost always feel more alive to me. A fully inked and colored image almost always loses a bit of it's life, to me at least.
I'm no drawfag, but for some reason sketches have always struck me like that.

Oh I agree with you 100% man. A sketch is always the promised beautiful house not yet built. Leaving it to the imagination is a real pleasure. However, just picturing how nice it could look will get stale after awhile. Eventually you want to see it come into fruition. Especially in this case where almost all of discotecnica ottanta's MLP works are unfinished houses.

The plot would be a non-canon, what-if story, where the Elements of Harmony are not useless stones. Nightmare Moon gets to them, and imbues them with Dark Magic, or something, and they go corrupt.

This causes two things:

1) The pony counterparts that represent each Element get corrupt too. They don't go all dark and shit, though. Their negative traits get amplified, so Applejack would be stubborn beyond belief, Rainbow Dash would be a mischevious pony (sort of like Gilda), Pinkie Pie will be actually fed up with everyone ignoring her, and so on.

2) Because Celestia's power source are the Elements of Harmony, her form reverts to that of an ordinary pony, and her powers grow weaker.

That's when Celestia tells Twilight something about her being a pony of destiny, and entrust her with the task of reverting the now corrupted Elements of Harmony to their usual state. This is done by confronting each of the ponies that represent an Element of Harmony, and turning them to the good side by making them acknowledge their mistakes (this would be with a boss battle, at the end of a dungeon).

When the pony gets reverted, they join your party, and Twilight increases her powers, thanks to the magic of Friendship.
Obviously, Nightmare Moon would be the final boss, and she would be battled with the aid of the Elements of Harmony, sort of like praying in Earthbound.

yeah I thought Art of the dress was only so-so at first... but then the reprise made me listen to the whole thing over, and I've come to the conclusion that it is the best written song so far. it is the most opera like, in that it replaces dialogue that the production cannot cut out entirely, it has great thematic content, the composition is brilliant with lyrics that seem natural, yet they hold the rhyme and meter without having to use awkward and out of place line ends, and the whole thing lacks cliche in the lyrical content or the rhyme scheme.

Effectively, the premise of True Grit is the same as a Horse and her Man. A young, but head strong and smart girl hires a crotchety old cuss, known for being pretty tough in dispensing justice, to hunt down a criminal that killed her father.
