Please check the MLP:FiM Thread Locator and
Archive before going out and about and starting
a new thread. /co/ doesn't mind if we stay in
a general thread, but the biggest complaint I
see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of autosaging into 404 hell,
and is at the image limit (150 pics). Once a new one
is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Please only post Generals on /co/ and maybe wallpapers
on /wg/, thank you.

Obviously trolls & haters cannot be helped.

general thread image is to be deleted and placed
onto the new one. Old general will be archived.

Archive system can only pick up threads with the

If anyone happens to have experience with PHP, I'm trying to get a high scoreboard working for PacDerpy, everything is setup and functional but just need a php setup to convert the txt file and list the top 10 scores.

So what I've gathered is this; Earth ponies are strong, tough, and are fast runners, Pegasus ponies are nimble, agile, and have the gift of flight, and unicorn ponies have in some cases what is essentially the cheat code of the pony world; unicorn magic. Given the differences, if you had to be a pony, witch pony class would you want to be?

Unicorns seem to be most effective at placing objects where they need to be. Depending on the Era, they could either throw boulders or aim artillery / AA.

Earth ponies bring the equipment to battle and care for them. Unicorns aren't like TS, they need to focus on simply moving the objects to the right place, the Earth ponies have to keep the operational.

The problem with the first 2 episodes is that they have a hard time impressing some viewers, but they still lay the groundwork for the other episodes and thus are critical to appreciating the later episodes.

Also you need to see the characters interact with other characters before you can appreciate the character centric episodes.

Case in point: People who watched Suited for Success first didn't like it as much as those who had watched the episodes before it.

There were some complaints about the episodes airing out of production order, which messed up the show's continuity. For example, the fall episode airing shortly after the winter episode. I asked Lauren Faust and this is what she had to say.

I really have no excuse for what people may consider to be a confusing timeline except that we're making these shows pretty darn fast, and if we're not about to throw out a good premise and replace it with a "meh" one because of it may seem out of order.

It may make more sense for everyone to imagine that episodes like Fall Weather Friends in 'reality' happened before Winter Wrap Up. The logic on our end was that we needed to inform the audience of the world dynamics (that the ponies control the weather) early in the season. So that means that the gala episodes aren't out of order either. The series is airing in its intended order.

Spongebob suffers the same problem that Ed, Edd and Eddy does. Which is to say, neither are particularly strong cartoons in their own right. They have a heavy nostalgia-lust for them on 4chan because many people here are 18-21, which is around the age you would be if you grew up with them. This has been a topic of discussion since the beginning. People who work for the show say it has been getting surprisingly strong ratings for the timeslot, and I guess Hasbro is pleased.

It's also been picked up by Cartoon Network for their overseas stations, which will probably be a bigger market than all of the Hub on the US for any time slot.

Season 2 has been all but confirmed. We know they've finished production of season 1. Yet we also know that voice actors and animators are busy at work, ipso facto they're working on season 2. I don't know why they haven't gone ahead and confirmed yet. But I personally wonder if it's because where and when it's going to air is still under negotiation. I wouldn't be too surprised if they were talking about cutting deals with Nick or CN.

Spongebob looked like shit when it first premiered. Even in it's prime it was nothing special. It premiered when I was an adult and the only thing that really stood out to me was the vaguely stoner humor they were inserting into a kid's show.
