02/07/11(Mon)20:48 No.23281615Evening! I thought I'd address a few points brought up in previous threads (yay, archives!) regarding the newest entry and more.
>>23274712 >all those eurobeat mixes have so little in common with the songs, i can't help but suspect an elaborate trolling attempt This is a pretty frequent complaint, so allow me to address it. A remix is, by its very nature, going to deviate from the original song. By how much is up to the remix-er. That said, in the last two versions of my songs I included the vocal lines from the original versions so listeners could hear where it fit into the remix, mostly in response to this complaint. If you're still feeling trolled, there's nothing I can do about that.
>>23274580 >I have 3 versions of giggle at the ghosty, 2 of which are both called the paraparasprite mix, but they're both different. I'm somewhat confused by eurobeat brony's naming conventions. One of the two is the mix with the Vocal line (as per previous complaints in Winter Wrap Up of not finding the original song in the remix), and the other is the mix without it. Whichever you wish to be the 'real' version between the two (that is, the "Paraparasprite Remix) is up to you. ...granted, I could stand to be clearer in distinguishing the two versions. Sorry for the mixup! If I have time for another remix, I will make the difference much clearer.
From Youtube' "Vladdyboy": >Did you sample sounds from C&C Tiberian Dawn music (Mechanical Man) >or is it just part of some editing program. No, the few samples I did use were from my former producer, who was selling a large collection of his 'work-sounds' at the time. The rest were from instruments built into Logic Pro.
And, in a few places here and there: >Will you be working on Rarity's "Art of the Dress"? Hopefully! I've got a lot of non-pony work to do, both musically and otherwise, but after all that we'll see how things go. |
