[ The Subject of New Threads & The Generals ]

Please check the MLP:FiM Thread Locator and
Archive before going out and about and starting
a new thread. /co/ doesn't mind if we stay in
a general thread, but the biggest complaint I
see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of autosaging into 404 hell,
and is at the image limit (150 pics). Once a new one
is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Please only post Generals on /co/ and maybe wallpapers
on /wg/, thank you.

Obviously trolls & haters cannot be helped.

New System: When the old general thread dies, the
general thread image is to be deleted and placed
onto the new one. Old general will be archived.

Archive system can only pick up threads with the
correct keywords, MLP, Pony, Ponies and things
along them lines work.

I've been working on Stuck for quite a while now(plz don't ask me to update, I legit have 4 courses that require constant papers. it's gonna be slow. Actually working on one now.).

If it was me, firstly I'd wonder whether I got to be a stallion or was still human.

That said, I think I'd look at the ponies the way I'd look at aliens coming down tomorrow. If everything matched up I wouldn't have anything against a relationship with them. They're sentient, whatever... though I suppose it might cause problems if I was still human. Play it by ear I guess.

For the most part I think I'd just seek out Pinkie and see if she's as fun to hang out with as she seems to be.

Well, yeah, but it seems really haphazard. Despite my hatred of anything GRIMDARK to do with ponies, I can have two conclusions to the seemingly weird assortiment of tech they have:

1) Scavengers. There WERE humans. Then they disappeared (self-destructed), and left behind some tech that ponies are able to power with magic (flashlight, megaphone, iron)

2) Random Stuff Ponies- I like this one more, because no GRIMDARK. These guys have a special talent about making stuff appear out of thing air. It sounds a bit to Deus Ex Machine-y, though. But still, it would make sense if they aren't able to control it, and just pop stuff into existence. Kinda like Forge from X-Men.

But I'm talking about giving the ponies an industrial revolution. And ideally, with Twilight's "Bring-to-Life" spell, we could avoid the pollution of the human world, by powering the moving parts with MAAAAAAAGIC.

Then I splashed out and got an Intous 4. Shit is so much better that it's not even funny.

I still need work but god, it made insanely more of a difference. I'd say try a cheap one first and see how you go.

Well, Wacom seems to work pretty well. Intous can do the tilting of the pen though. Which is good and bad depending on what you want to work on. It takes some getting used to and I'm heavy handed at the best of times.

Still figuring out how to get the best results for linework too... but good god is it good for painting in colours with a 30% brush or the like.

This thread doesn't have nearly the daily recommenced allowance of Pinkie Pie.

I've been using painter to do the lines. I mostly colour in photoshop though which is kind of a waste, painter has such nice brushes... but photoshop has so much control...

The major difference that separates bronies from most fanbases is that we're WELL aware at how absurd all of this is. In fact, its half the fun... like a dirty little secret that the world must never know about.

Think about it....grown men and women liking a show for little girls, and yet still being well adjusted individuals (you'd have to be to not be threatened by the idea).
