This was pretty good, very enjoyable! I couldn't help but think of Perfect Cell, or in this case, Perfect Trixie, carving up a giant rock for the floor of the World Martial Art Tournament when she was slicing up that tree.

It was refreshing to see Trixie finally getting some action that was positive. She even landed some hot filly tang after the show, haha! If I had to think up anything I didn't like about the story, it would be that Trixie had to buy fireworks. She doesn't need to buy them, her magic simulates fireworks all on its own. Also, I thought it was strange having Trixie drink out of the lake when she could be drinking something a lot tastier. I'd assume she'd have a great deal of money at that point, so why would she risk drinking water from a lake that might be dirty?

Other than that, well done! Any chance of continuing the story further?

Thank you! My rationale for the fireworks was to conserve her magic, having just done mental kung-fu on a tree. The lake was just an excuse to have a backdrop for her conversation with Apple Bloom... besides, I can't imagine what the lake would be contaminated with, the city lacking any modern industrialization. But Rarity didn't need to have a fashion show with the shit dresses. Those were for her friends when they go to the Gala, I thought. Why not, as a THANK YOU to Rarity for making the ones they WANTED, put up with wearing the good ones for the fashion show?

Also, even though everyone is unusually greedy and bitchy in this episode, I actually like it. They're probably so stoked to get a dress from a friend who's so talented, they want it to be just right and get carried away..and they even have their own ways of showing it.
