>>23213604 I liked most of these. The ones I read, anyway. I haven't read the Nightmare Cycle or the Angel one. The ones I did read, they're interesting thought experiments, if nothing else.
Spike, My Boy: This made me feel sad for Twilight mostly. I mean, I would agree that little Spike would need to be taken away from her in that situation, but at the same time I feel bad for Twilight, because she does care for him but is incapable of keeping him safe or even understanding what she's doing wrong. Perhaps it's mostly because she doesn't understand that makes me feel bad for her. It's kindof like smacking a puppy. A puppy which is a danger to itself and others and believes it's a pony and I've lost the metaphor.
The Time Had Come: This, on the other hand, was heartwarming. And kindof fitting, really. Pinkie is the element of laughter, after all. Even though she doesn't send the Cakes into guffaws, she still brightens their days with good cheer. Maybe they'll figure out that Pinkie shouldn't be baking, and instead have her be a party planner. For just the cost of expenses plus a service fee, you can have Pinkie design a fabulous party for you, fit for any occasion! Of course no party is complete without baked goods, but luckily the Cakes sell those, too. Celebrate today! |
