I was very pleased with today's episode. Seems to have taken place right after Ticket Master. Lots of great Rarity moments. I was kinda surprised actually. I thought there would be a lesson about how every person is unique and has their own style and who cares of what anyone else thinks as long as you're happy. Instead it was more of a "trust the judgment of the one who knows what they're doing" ending.

1. Why does everyone put Applebuck Season on such a high pedestal? There wasn't anything truly great about it, IMHO. In fact, the only reason I keep Bridle Gossip on God Tier is because it's the best episode so far; I'm still waiting for an episode that'll (hopefully) knock me off my feet.

2. What's with all the Look Before You Sleep hate? That's one of my favorite episodes, although slightly flawed with the concentration on repetition of arguments. Other than that, though, there's nothing really wrong with it that puts it below the others.

3. Not related to moves, but: the only reason Suited For Success isn't God is because of the lyrics in the songs (not the reprise as much as the initial song). The music was awesome (loved dat guitar), but those lyrics... they just felt so forced.

I really impressed with Fullerton.
How she was able to handle Look before you sleep (which was clearly the episode with the tightest animation budget) was Superb. Not much happens in the episode, but the Pacing of the back and forth in the dialogue. It's a very theater style episode, which makes Rarites involvement a huge plus.

And now we can see what she's capable of with a larger budget.
