It's resolution vs proper encoding, there's no clear winner. When the HD1080 rip is clear, it's perfect. When there are compression artifacts, it sucks. The 640x360 Hub site rips don't have noticeable compression artifacts, but they're... smaller.

Bottom line it's a matter of personal preference, and we can only hope for 100% accurate HDTV rips.
