see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official

old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Obviously trolls & haters cannot be helped.

We could talk about how awesome a Celestia/NMM fight would be.

The initial charge! Then a parry, a block, and on, using their horns as swords in a swashbuckling unicorn duel, hopping across tables, up stairs, over balconies while normal ponies flee in terror. They rear, kick, dodge; huge sweeps of wings as they try to attack and defend in every way possible. Then - zap! Teleportation comes into it, with bursts of light that cast things in silhouette for split seconds, like flashes of lightning.

Wings unfurl, and both take to the sky, swooping and weaving, horns still clashing, but a thunderclap and an explosion of light every time.

That reminds me - did anyone else like that bit in the second episode when Twilight paws the ground and she and NMM charge each other? It was like it had a weird sense of almost formality to it, like a challenge to a duel or something. Felt sort of cultural, as well, like it's something only unicorns do. What with the horn and all.

I can imagine a future episode where, say, Trixie comes back, and challenges Twilight to a duel, and it gets set up with like an adjudicator and a worried audience like a jousting match or something, and the earth and pegasus ponies are all "wtf r u doin" while the unicorns are like "stfu this is srs business".

I'm kinda interested to see someones take on Rainbow dash as a princess, and I'm surprised no one did Rarity yet. But I figured that other Bronies would each do a take or something, makes it interesting.

Additionally, I'm not a Writefag, but I'm surprised no one did a "the cast as princesses" Story. Maybe something like for whatever reason Celestia and Luna sequester themselves for a week or something, and Celestia decides to test Twilight by placing her in charge. Twilight can't do it alone, so she asks if friends would be allowed to assist her. So Celestia imbues them each with limited princess power to handle different royal jobs. Fluttershy for matters of nature, Pinkie Pie for public relations, and so on... Just a thought.

Anytime a group of ponies is chattering randomly (even if it's the main cast) that's almost always an ad-lib direction, because chatter sounds more genuine when it's off-the-cuff. After 300 replies, the thread is no longer kicked to the top of page 0. So it keeps falling down and down as people make and reply to other threads. Eventually dropping off the board completely over the course of hours, depending on how active the board is.

With MLP generals, this is usually about the time the thread hits the image limit, 150 images, meaning no more images can be posted.

With both limits hit, new threads are started fairly rapidly, and older threads ever fall off the last page, or are simply deleted to be placed in the archive.

All MLP threads since mid December have been saved. It's a trove of good stuff. Also, it will point you to the latest general if it is autosaging and fallen off the first page. It's very handy, and I suggest memorizing it or bookmarking it.
