02/04/11(Fri)02:28 No.23176495>>23176458 “I can’t believe that … That blank flank is getting more attention than me! And At my own party, even!” Diamond said, hopping onto her bed and glaring at the wall. “It’s my day today! My special day, not hers! Why did she have to … Have to …”
I looked at her from my spot in the doorway, wondering why she had paused; I didn’t like what followed.
Diamond Tiara’s eyes were swelling with tears, although she refused to let me get a good look. She quickly turned away, her back towards me while sounds of her sniffling echoed across the room. If someone else had been in here, they wouldn’t have heard a peep, but not me. If my filly crush cries, then I cry too. I walked over to her, placing a hoof on her back and patting her, hoping this would be some kind of supportive.
“It’s okay Diamond, forget that stupid loser. You and I can still go enjoy your party, right?” I asked, praying for the sounds of her sadness to cease. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
“No … She ruined everything … She ruined my most special day ever!” The tears that Diamond held back had started to flow down her face, her short sniffling now quiet sobs. “I don’t have my party, I don’t have my attention, all I have is …” She paused. “All I have is …”
“You have me.” |
