In other reading-too-far-into-it news... why DID Celestia only send one extra ticket to Twilight in the Ticket Master episode? She knows she's got five friends, Celestia would still be imprisoned if she didn't. The closest I've seen to an explanation is the comic where Celestia muses to Luna that she really thought Twilight would be dating by now (and could someone repost that?).

I suppose it could just be the generic "ticket plus one" to all guests, but Celestia seems closer to Twilight than just a generic invite.

So I just caught up on all the episodes and one thing in the last one really bugged me.
Why the fuck does fall take place right after winter? At the start of the Winter Wrap up episode the trees don't have any leaves and by the end the leaves have all grown back, and in the space of two episodes all the leaves turn brown and have to be knocked down. So does that mean next episode is winter again, or do all the leaves grow back and it is spring or summer for some reason?

My favorite episode si the one where Dash is making goo goo eyse at Fluttershy the whole time and she gets pissed because Fluttershy just wants Big Mac, only Big Mac doesn't notice (which is eitehr because he's so used to fillies hitting on him or because he's gay or because he's in love with Rarity) so Fluttershy is getting all sad and Dash is getting mad (or maybe just frutstrated) but she still loves her.

It really left m e wanting to see they're relationship go forward and it makes me sad that it probably won't because people think a show that's partly for kids shouldn't have gay characters, which is really just bigoted and mean spirited.

Not trying to be a hater, I like fanfics. I read many of these. But they're fucking impossible to read in this way. We now have too many trips to count pooping out partly-finished stories across 6+ segments all around the thread. It's just too difficult to read and to follow, and creates clutter everywhere. Wouldn't you rather have your stuff nicely indexed? Where we could search by name, author, characters, subject matter, etc? I know it'd be a lot easier on me as a reader.

Just throwing that out there. It's become kind of an issue at this point.

Blog brony is a true brony. He works hard and does a good job. No offense to him, but I think it could still be better. He organizes by character and does a pretty good job describing what fic is what...but they're still in image format and it's just not totally optimal.

Try going to adultfanfiction.net and seeing how they're organized (don't read things if you don't want, just look at how they catalog). I love that site because it's just so easy to see what is what, who wrote what, what EXACTLY each fic is about, etc

I think something like that, but for ponies, would be ideal. We can clearly separate the adult and G rated material so it wouldn't be a concern, which I remember it was with blog brony's site for awhile.

Storm of the Century (a movie)
Plot:
A small village off the mainland is about to receive a huge winter storm. It won't be just another storm for them. A strange visitor named Andre Linoge comes to the small village and gives the residents havoc. He knows everything about them, and when he tells the truth about one of them, that person denies it. The town constable, Mike Anderson, tries to keep everyone in check with the huge storm and Linoge. Linoge keeps telling the people, "Give me what I want and I will go away".

The solution to the parasprite problem is that PinkyPie plays a bunch of instruments and they follow her and leave the town.
There is a scene in Raritys boutique where she grabs a flute.
The brothers Grimm wrote the Saga "Der Rattenfänger von Hameln" (don't know english name sorry) in which a town (Hameln) has a rat infestation which is solved by the "Ratcatcher" playing his flute and leading them out of the town. The town doesn't pay him what he wanted for his services and he then does the same to the towns children. Google the rest yourself.

Here's some interesting things that will come from it:
Rainbow Dash and Rarity interaction. We haven't seen these two interact a lot together. Let's see how their personalities come out. Will they get on each other's nerves like AJ and Dash do in the sleepover episode? Or do their personalities mesh better than that?
Rarity becoming a focal point. Until now she's mostly just been a background pony, commenting on the action more than taking a direct role in it. We'll get to see what she's like when thrown into some action.
Twilight gains (canonical) hax magic. Which she already has, but this is through the roof. I'm sure fans will go crazy with this.
