PinkiexDash seems to be more canon to me (not saying ANY shipping is canon, just what the show feels like with Yuri goggles). They have that similar interest in pranking and I have a feeling that if Pinkie felt something, she'd let Dash know and Dash has so much fun with her that she'd likely reciprocate, if she swung that way. Of course, in the show, they also lend support to the fact that Pinkie might also get on Dash's nerves a lot with her talking and they'd need a break every once and while or Dash would go nuts and hurt Pinkie's feelings.

FlutterDash's main strength is the raw cute. They've got some elements of a knight/damsel to them, and I can see them coming together over taking care of the animals. Dash would be all rough housing with the ferrets and high energy critters while Shy would make sure they get their food.

Yeah, I'm discussing shipping in depth . . . hey, I'll talk about any other topic too, if it gains traction.

So... We have the first good cartoon in years, with interesting characters, a plot (somewhat), actual character development, a nice visual style and good voice acting...

HFCS I think I might know what the problem is.

You write alot, plain and simple. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but gunning out story after story will tend to burn out even the most avid fanfic reader. Now I'm not saying I've written a comment for every story you've posted, and I kinda feel bad when I skip over someone's hard worked fic. But it happens.

I kinda want to put a good memorable story like that batch of cookies your grandma makes once every blue moon, or that holiday dinner you get to eat once a year. You want to keep people interested by, as bad as it sounds, making them wait for more.

Take me, I'm going onto 2 days now without posting a new chapter for both of my stories. I can't go into a thread without at least one anon post "Hey Lucid, when you posting the next chapter of Stuck." or "C'mon, I wanna see Celestia hand Luna full power of Equestria for a day."

It's not that quantity is a bad thing at a fast pace, but I think people tend to see story after story being shot out one after another. Maybe it doesn't sink in deep enough. My advice to hold off on chapters/parts for at least a day to keep people interested.

I feel like I'm rambling. If this helped then I did my job.

Hmm, interesting concept. And here I go, again putting way too much thought into it because hey, I figure it's practice to over think everything about established characters, because it may become useful for me down the road for my own stuff.

The problem with more than pairs is jealousy. If you can balance get rid of that feeling between them, then it can work. Otherwise, the competition will drive all the relationships apart.

I want to say Dash might be the most jealous. Her competitive side might come out and she'd demand to be number one between both parties. I could be completely wrong, though. Perhaps due to laziness, she's just fine with sometimes taking a nap while Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy go out.

Pinkie Pie probably is incapable of jealousy, and in some ways, is a good match for Fluttershy, helping her come out of her shell. Where Dash defends FS, Pinkie might help her overcome her shyness. Over simply overwhelm her with energy. Probably good that Pinkie finds a lot of vents for her boundless extroversion.

Fluttershy might become intensely jealous and protective. I have a feeling she doesn't have a lot of relationships, so when she does get one, her lack of confidence, tendency to fear, and frequent not speaking up for herself might turn her into a powder keg of pent up emotions. But, she is kind. I think if they had a good mediator, like Twilight, to make sure all three are feeling satisfied, they could have a successful relationship

When I was younger, I went through a fanfic writan, original character drawan, annoying weeaboo type phase. I was that fan that was really into his shit. I wanted to be part communities and I was all super involved and shit. That kind of stuff was my life for a couple years.. "oh boy oh boy". Pinkie pie was ecstatic, a party was being planned! But not just any party, oh no, she did those daily. This was something EXTRA SPECIAL; a party for her bestest friend rainbow dash! Everything had to be special, so she was on her way to acquire her secret special weapon.

On the outskirts of town lay a small shack, in poor repair but at least serviceable. spots of it were charred, other spots were covered in blotches of soot, quite an unnerving sight for anypony.

The interior was far worse. every square inch of the shanty was covered in a dark powder and numerous burn marks stained the wooden floor and ceiling. The floorboards seemed to groan in protest for being in such a sorry state.
Barrels lined the walls, some open and containing large bundles of sticks with colorful cylinders attached to each. others were filled with other contraptions wrapped in papers and ribbons of many hues. It was an ironic contrast to the sooty surroundings.
Pinkie pie trotted to the counter and ringed the rusted bell.
an exasperated voice came from the back room, obscured by a tattered red curtain.
"just a moment!" the voice said as small crashes and bumps were heard. following a few more sounds, some strange and un-equatable to anything pinkie had ever heard, a pony parted the curtains.

She rummaged through some storage containers, being careful to touch a few carefully places metal plates with her hooves. static sparks had caused three fires this week due to her carelessness. "Ah, there it is", she fished a massive object from one of the containers. it was easily 20 to 30 stones in weight and as wide as her flank. This was her masterstroke, the power of a dragon's breath crafted into a single tube of rolled paper and extremely powerful explosives. She only sold it to pinkie pie, who knew how to safely deploy it.
"Oh boy oh boy oh boy dash is going to LOVE IT~~!" pinkie pie bounded around the room as crossette lumbered out from behind the curtain.
