So, something very confusing, Derpy isn't quite sure what, happened due to time-travel shenanigans, and at the end, there was Derpy and Dinky on their own.
The townsfolk speculate that the Artist Pony is Dinky's father. Artist isn't quite sure and tries to ignore his messed up memories as best he can.
The Doctor doesn't quite know what what happened either, but he doesn't want to involve Derpy in his travels anymore for fear of having Derpy hurt even more. He's the only one who remembers what she was like before.

Applejack is quite interesting for me. She seems to hold the least and sometimes most appealing place for me.

On the one hand, she is a simple farmer gal, a kind of archetype that I don't typically go for. She's not as funny as Pinkie, cute as Fluttershy, relatable as Twilight, or as appealing as Rainbow Dash.

But her character often wins me over. Of all the ponies, I see her most apt to me a sort of . . . action hero, if you will. It's like, if stuff goes down bad, you know she's the first one jumping in, kicking ass, and taking names, but unlike Rainbow Dash (who'd do the same as long as her confidence doesn't get shaken which is apparently easy to do), I see her also acting the part of the level headed leader. I guess that's a very guy reason for liking her.

But also, look at that face. Man, such a cute face.

I don't know about apples but you can make crazy money with agriculture if you know what you're doing.

I live in the nursery capital of the south (nursery as in trees, not kids) and despite living in bumfuck nowhere I see at least three +$50,000 cars every day.

It takes years of preparation though so the money is well-earned, except for the faggots that inherit them from their parents.
