Monday's finally here. We have no idea how this will turn out. We lost track of interest after the first couple dozen contributors. This could be a banner day for fan material. It could be a fizzle. Either way, some of us are interested in collecting and compiling material. Including the following information would be very helpful to us.
ENTRY: Just say it's for the friendoff in your message. Lots of fan material gets posted every day, some new, old. Saying it's for the friendoff will help make sure we won't miss you.
TITLE: Please consider adding a title. If you've looked up stuff at, say, the Equestria Daily blog, you'll know it's hard to find something if it hasn't got a title. If you struggle with titles, even a one or two word description of the subject would be helpful. e.g. "Pinkie #11, B&W" If you're contributing more then one piece, the 1/n numbering system is also nice.
NAME: Feel comfortable with posting as anonymous. Trips are also good. If you are or considering contributing regularly, a tripcode is a very useful feature.
CREDIT: Simply posting your contribution will be the highest form of flattery to whomever inspired you. But consider stating who made the original contribution. If you don't know, that's OK. Just don't guess, that would probably be confusing.
Expect stuff to be posted over the next 24 hours. We won't know how it turned out until Tuesday. While you're looking at and reading the contributions of others, think about if this is something we want to do again.
