>>23074088 Trixie comes to town, on Twilight's doorstep. "The Great and Powerful Trixie has decided to give you the honor of tutoring her, so that she can become even greater!"
Twilight is confused at first, but always willing to help people or try something new, and lets her in.
Over the next few days Trixie tries and fails to learn things from Twilight. Though talented, Trixie constantly tries to outdo Twilight or do everything herself, taking on more than she can handle and screwing things up. Twilight exasperatingly tells Trixie that she needs to learn to work with other ponies. Trixie is offended at the idea of needing the help of other ponies and leaves. Twilight is sad, but her friends tell her that Trixie was probably a lost cause anyway.
Trixie wanders around ponyville aimlessly, eventually meeting up with some random pony (Applebloom?), and the two hit it off. But then trouble strikes! Indeterminate problem arises and Random Pony is in trouble! Trixie briefly tries to save the day herself and fails miserably. Random Pony tells Trixie to go get help. Trixie does so, because she actually cares about Random Pony! Trixie and some other ponies, who may consist of the main cast, go and save Random Pony after working together in a way none of them would have been able to accomplish alone.
Trixie is praised for her efforts in assisting other ponies and is finally accepted. Happy Day!
~
Dear Princess Celestia, I met a pony who valued her own pride over the help of others, and wouldn't accept help no matter what other ponies said! However, when one of that pony's friends was in danger, she finally pulled together with the others to save her. I learned that while it's important to help people, the decision to help must be made by that person, and all you can do is offer your friendship and hope they will offer theirs in turn.
