Monday's finally here. We have no idea how this will turn out. We lost track of interest after the first couple dozen contributors. This could be a banner day for fan material. It could be a fizzle. Either way, some of us are interested in collecting and compiling material. Including the following information would be very helpful to us.

Trixie was pretty snooty, but she wasn't a bad pony man. Trying to defend a town she didn't have any attachment to, plus getting her stuff destroyed and not being bitter about it says a lot for her character in the time we had to see her in action.

If people want to throw the "That character is an asshole!" card, I think it sits best in Rainbow Dash's deck. That bitch is nasty. Cool character no doubt, but she is a real cunt to her pals. I see why Gilda and Dash got along so good.

Turning around to face her, he was surprised to see Twilight Sparkle standing there with Applejack. Not a pony of many words, Big Mac waited in silence as the unicorn pony’s horn began to glow furiously. Breathing heavily, Twilight concentrated all her magic and focused on Big Macintosh. After a few seconds, Twilight let out a long exhale, and relaxed her body.
“Well, whatcha think?” Applejack asked her brother.
“Whoops, maybe I made it too big…” Twilight Sparkle began, gazing upon her work.
“What are you talkin’ about?” Big Mac asked.
“Well, ah saw you lookin’ in the mirror and figured ya wanted one so…”
Realizing that the two ponies were looking intently at the end of his face, Big Mac reached a hoof out to his snout. He rubbed the tip of his nose and felt a rather odd sensation. There, covering a large portion of his face, rested a truly impressive handlebar mustache.
“Why, it’s the best present a pony could ask for.” Big Mac said.
“Ah told ya he’d love it!” Applejack said to her unicorn friend. “Now come on, let’s head back to the party!”
As the two mares walked away, Big Mac promised to himself never to let his sister know about how dirty he got everyday from working on the farm, or how long he takes in front of a mirror everyday to make sure he’s clean and presentable for his family.

This is just to put this out there, but I have an idea for a story. It will involve humans in the pony setting, but hear me out.
A person finds themself in the ponyverse. Not too different from standard so far, right? But give it time. This person goes about meeting the cast (as is a must in most of these stories, because we can't have him popping up in west Fillydelphia, right?), making friends despite his appearance, and slowly incorporating himself into pony culture. Hilarity ensues over the culture clash of humans and ponies. Not-so-hilarity ensues from the culture clash (wait, you DON'T eat cows? Awk-waaaard). Celestia and Luna notice a tear in sub-space fabric that allowed that person to enter. Person is offered a choice: Go home, or become a permanent resident of the ponyverse via ponification. I don't know how I'd go about picking which type of pony yet, it's all blueprints still.
At some point other humans may drift in, these ones not so nice. A manticore might find it's way to Earth. Sub-space boundary collapse might occur if the situation isn't fixed.
Could tie in with a moral about how friends can stay with you, even if they're far away.
Good idea? I probably won't have much time to work on it, what with my job and philosophy papers, but I wanted to get some feedback in case I do find the time. Don't want to write something that no one will read, after all.

If you watch carefully, you'll see that the telekinesis spell has a specific casting time (there's a flash), and she manipulates the objects when she's done with the spell. It seems to me that the success roll happens at the beginning of the duration, which means that as long as she timed her flights in hops, she wouldn't have to worry about critical failures--she just wouldn't get off the ground.

It certainly doesn't appear that telekinesis takes much concentration. She does it all the time while intent on her books.

Acetone. Get a qtip and dip it in acetone and rub ont he eyelashes - it'll get the paint off. (it will also remove her eyes and hair though, you just want to go after the lashes.)
(If you aren't an artist and don't just randomly have pure acetone - nail polish remover usually has some in it and works just as well. If you are male and have no mother or sister to steal from, then I dont know what to tell you)

Ahh! Well, if you want to try taking off just the eyelashes, you'll want pure acetone - not just nail-polish remover, since it's basically watered-down acetone, and will sometimes smear paint around instead of wiping it off cleanly. I'd recommend doing that with a q-tip, and be ready to paint back on some of the eyeliner if you get too overzealous.

As far as fully repainting the eye, you might have a small problem, since the G4s have very slight indents in the plastic where the eye goes. If you're changing the entire shape of the eye, for example, you'll have to paint over the existing shape, which might be difficult for a first-timer. (But not impossible! Just harder than painting on a plain flat surface.)

Aside from those, I'd recommend getting teeny tiny little brushes; the smallest I have is a 10/0 right now, but I believe they make them smaller. The smaller the brush, the more detail you can get! And if you water down the acrylic paint, you can dab it off with a wet paper towel before it dries. Which is useful, since I find myself re-doing eyes millions of times to get them looking right and matching.

So, long story short - maybe MSPaint a close-up picture of the pony, to see how she looks sans eyelashes, and decide where to go from there! Good luck!
