01/31/11(Mon)00:45 No.23070536The city of Ponyville was in an uproar. Mercenaries had been dispatched to their fair town, and that was almost as bad as the numerous beasts that were wrecking it. Something in the Evergreen Forests was stirring the most dangerous animals, and the fact that Canterlot had only dispatched mercenaries meant that they were saving the guards for themselves. Schools were empty, doors and windows barricaded, and this was just to greet the hired soldiers.
The sun was barely rising as the mercenaries entered. One was a white Earth pony wearing blue fur, and the largest Sword any pony had seen. The second one, a brown Earth pony had a leather jacket and rainbow pony shoes, and carried a portable cannon. Mayor Mare was waiting for them, and promptly asked them for their order papers. Twilight and Spike, not ones to be able to pick up the mood of Ponyville, wandered in, as did their friends who took it upon themselves, to “watch their back”. curiosity got the better of them, and soon they had encircled their newest guests.
The new ponies noticed this, and the brown one leaped onto the fountain, and bowed to the ladies before him. “Hello Ladies, my name is Belthazar, the pleasure of meeting you is all mine.” The white pony brought her hoof to her face, “Sorry about him, you’ll learn to ignore him. My name is Karen.” |
