Shes not, shes been around since the beginning, and is pretty easy to spot in the background in Boast Busters as I recall. Shes very seldomly used though, I suspect shes buried deep within in the incidental pony files they use to populate scenes and thats why we never see her. Its probably also why certain ponies always show up together, they are near eachother in that file and are just plopped down in sequence. See, what Hasbro should do to get rid of the "My Little Cloney" effect is have a contest where people send in a whole bunch of Cutie Marks with the winner having their Cutie Mark appear on a Pony with a speaking part (such as Bon-Bon) and a toy of said pony. Everybody else's Cutie Marks would go into the random pony generator (which I assume they have) and viola! No more clones and a bunch of happy little girls who have a chance to see their cutie mark in an episode.
