I am considering the ramifications, and here's what I've come up with:


The writers just do whatever. They're not like the Jackson's LotR team, trying to create a feasible fantasy universe, taking realworld concepts and applying them to Middle Earth.

Consider Twilight using her mouth to pick up a bottle, pour it into a cup, then drink it from a straw. Why wouldn't the ponies just have a communal trough they all drink from? Their houses have doors, but they don't have thumbs to turn doorknobs.

MLP just puts non-humans in human situations. Sometimes it fits and sometimes it doesn't. Continuing to overthink it is like pulling at loose strings, keep going and it all comes apart.

Just came back from Visiting family.

It was pitch dark when Rainbow Dash and Applejack half staggered out of the woods. "I'm so tired I don't think I can fly home," Dash groaned.

"Don't you worry 'bout that. You can stay with me tonight." Dash's panting was her answer. The farm was close, and the promise of some shuteye made the trip seem quick.

As they entered the barn to wash up a lamp clicked on by itself. Princess Celestia was standing before them. "Your Majesty!" Applejack gasped as she and Dash bowed.

"I see you two have finished, finally," the princess snorted. "Or I *would* see if it weren't dark out." Then she nosed around, feigning interest in various things.

Rainbow Dash's voice dripped with remorse, "We're real sorry!"

"An' we promise it'll never happen again," Applejack added.

Princess Celestia turned towards the two. Her eyes narrowed as she smiled. "*That* I am sure of." Dash was proud of the princess' faith in them, but those words sent a chill down Applejack's spine. "See, fillies, your bickering and interference has upset the natural order." Celestia laughed. "I mean, that order being mine, naturally."

Dash tried to diagram the sentence in her head. Applejack trembled and thought of backing away. At that instant the barn doors slammed shut, making her yelp in fear.

"I worry that you two will end up making My Faithful Student look bad in the eyes of her future charges."

"What do credit cards...?" Dash gave up.

Celestia laughed. "Oh, such wit. Twilight will miss you both dearly after I send you two to..." Her eyes turned to fire, "PONY HELL!" She paused to savor their fear. "But she'll make new friends, oh, Carrot Cake and Derpy I guess, after they find your bodies." She smiled before sighing, "Unless..."

There was an awkward pause. Then Applejack grimaced. "Candy vag?"

Rainbow Dash sprang up. "Candy vag!"

Celestia nodded. "Candy vag."

Later, Celestia appeased, she left the exhausted ponies sleeping peacefully.

Hello brony! I just got here so I might be too late to catch you, but just so you know - those ponies were pretty overpriced! On the pony collector forums, you can often get common G3s for a buck or two apiece, especially if they are unwashed. (Your picture's a little grainy, so I might be wrong in judging their hair to be a little messy.) Hell, I have two huge boxes of g3 doubles sitting around that I got as custom bait (most of whom are fine) for about 60 cents each.

So just so you know - next time you wanna go blow your money on ponies, might I recommend eBay or one of the pony forums? You'll get far more ponies for your buck. (Feel free to take that as you will, of course; I have also met shady dealers on both sites, 4chan is a den of scum and villainy, etc.)

Just got around to watching the new episode after eagerly awaiting it all day. Fantastic stuff.

Did anyone else notice how strange it was to see Dash acting nervous and anxious about stuff? She was genuinely unsure if she was going to win the barrel race, even sweating. They didn't follow that up with some kind of joke, so the emotion was sincere. She even got nervous right before landing in the jump, and instinctively used her wings. Was she afraid of landing from a high place with no flight to cushion the fall? It's an interesting side to her character. The first example I could relate to maybe her distaste of losing.
