or, it could be that the Apple Clan is not really made of ponies, but in fact aliens in disguise, and that's why they can use their tails that way. That would explain why they're always late to get their cutie marks, and the tail thing. THEY'RE TRYING TO TAKE OVER EQUESTRIA!!

To find that Granny Smith had gone old and senile in her absence, thus accepting her for who she is in the only way she knew how...by forgetting who she was.

I knew as soon as Twilight appeared at the start of the race that she would beat them (though I expected her to win outright).

Dash is a cheater, but I can't stay mad at that face. Applejack is still my favorite of favorites.

Only thing I really didn't buy was Dash winning at arm/leg/hoof-wrestling. AJ seemed to be more physically powerful in the events they did except that one.

Anyway, loved the ep. Classing cartoon shenanigans. It's automatically going on the list of eps I recommend for new bronies or bronies-in-training.

The Azula and Katara fight was pretty fucking cool. Toph wrapping herself up in steel was cool. Hell, everything was cool about the ending whenever Aang wasn't involved. Just replace what happened in the special with your own made up story and you could have a fantastic finale.
