Please check the MLP:FiM Thread Locator and

a new thread. /co/ doesn't mind if we stay in
a general thread, but the biggest complaint I
see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of autosaging into 404 hell,
or is at the image limit (150 pics). Once a new one
is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Obviously trolls & haters cannot be helped.

general thread image is to be deleted and placed

Oh hey! There was a request for this to be writefagged a while ago, and I wrote up something really quick. Probably derp-tastic, but if you're the same anon, hopefully you'll enjoy it.


"I'm - a big - huff - pony!" Apple Bloom repeated to herself between kicks, her tiny back legs straining. This apple just didn't wanna fall down! How the heck was she supposed to prove how grown up she was if she couldn't even buck one apple? She'd tried one of the big trees first, but had abandoned it after several solid kicks only produced sore hooves.

"Why - won't - you - fall!?" Apple Bloom wailed, kicking her back legs out alternately now, more desperate than anything. The little sapling and its singular apple swayed violently, as if in a windstorm, but remained in place.

"But everyone gets to go applebuckin' but me!" Apple Bloom whined, stomping one tiny hoof. Her wounded feelings were soon forgotten, however, as her brother gently grabbed her scruff in his teeth, lifting her up onto his back.

Section 4 is done as a first draft, but my proof reader is MIA. She only really comes on late at night, and I kind of want to get it done before the episode comes out. Kind of a . . . self enforced deadline, as I intended my fic to be a decent fix during the episode drought.

It's hardly the only thing I write. And it's the first fanfic I ever wrote. Kind of changed my view on fanfics in general. I use to laugh at them as work that was subpar for a bunch of stay at home moms with nothing else to do but read and write it (and I really made a lot of fun of my mom for reading Stargate and Voyager ones).

But here I am, writing it. You know what? It's damn fun. It's been one of the biggest joys for me to write, even over all my original stories. Part of that is the cast of characters is so rich and likable. Now I see fanfics in a different light. They're a bunch of fans who feel they have a story to tell that the real show can't or won't touch. And they do it because it's fun to spend more time with the characters when official stuff is not available.

I do overall like the general horse design, colors and markings. But I like it just as a normal horse, not really mlp-related. I think it would suit a lot better to just have a normal one color coat color, but feel free to spike those extra colors into the mane and tail! And cutie mark too. Those generally are where most colors sit on poines. Also socks, no socks.

But still on its own and not worrying about it being mlp-related it's cute and I like it.

They fell from the sky on cratered rocks rigged with large rockets. There was no time to talk, and there was no time to plan before the massacre began.

The only other pony she remembered was Big Mac, who had succeeded in taking one of the giants down and living a few seconds of victory before being swept up and thrashed into the ground until his limp body was tossed to the side like a sack of hay.

Fluttershy, with her innocent, timid nature, went into hiding after trying to save as many animals as she could, and Twilight didn't know her whereabouts now. She could be dead. She probably was.

Big Mac walked into the barn and closed the door behind him, as per his sister's orders. Applejack had been acting awful weird lately and earlier that day she'd finally gone up to him and told her she needed to talk. He was told to meet her in the barn later, not to tell nopony, to make sure he was alone and to close the door behind him when he entered.

It was a weird thing to need, but Big Mac didn't care. His sister needed him, and he was always happy to help.

He took a few steps forward before Applejack came out from behind a hay bale. She seemed to have been hiding.

Big Mac watched as she moved up to him, and stopped only a few inches away. Silently, he waited. Applejack however just kept her head down, as if she was ashamed of something. Big Mac didn't know what to think.

"A.J.," said Big Mac. "What's going -"

"I love you," said Applejack. Her head seemed to hang even lower after she said it. Big Mac was still confused.

"Well I love you too, but what does -"

"No." Applejack finally raised her head, and Big Mac could see she was red as any apple in their orchard. It was then that Big Mac knew where this was going, and he could feel his face heat up. Applejack continued, "I mean I love you...as more than just a sister. In a way no sister should love her brother." She seemed to get even redder. "I know it's wrong, but I just can't help it. And I felt...I felt I just had to tell you. I need you to know."

Given how every other episode so far has outright ignored all that aside from the forced Twilight speech at the end it suggests that Hasbro had some influence over the first two episodes.

I've heard loads of people who say 2nd episode is worst due to its attempt at an epic plot which doesn't suite the show's strengths at all.

Though I have heard some grumbling about Call of the Cuties not being any good.

It amuses me that people actually capped that. Especially since I already hate it.
Not because of the subject matter (having browsed 4chan for years now, it's hard for me to be disgusted anymore), but just because I feel I could've done it better.
But it was all a rushed out stream done in two minutes only meant to get to the last line, so it doesn't really matter, I guess. I just thought Pinkie's expression was funny and wanted to capture what I thought she thought.

Oh well. Maybe someday I'll write a Pinkie/Dash fic and actually put some effort behind it. Then people can cap that.
