She chirped, stomping at the upturned earth with her back hooves, trying to hide the way she'd almost entirely uprooted the little sapling. "Didn't look like nuthin' to me, kiddo." Big Mac said evenly, although the slight narrowing of his eyes belied his calm words. He eyeballed her for a long moment, then stepped neatly around the little filly, not even high enough to reach his knee yet. "Gotta be careful with the little saplings. They got a lotta growing left to do, like you." He said as he replaced the abused sapling, gently tamping down the earth around its roots. "But everyone gets to go applebuckin' but me!" Apple Bloom whined, stomping one tiny hoof. Her wounded feelings were soon forgotten, however, as her brother gently grabbed her scruff in his teeth, lifting her up onto his back. "Alright then. You'll be my applebuckin' helper. Point me towards the trees with the most apples in 'em. Think you can do that?" He asked placidly, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You got it!" She beamed, bouncing on his back as she rode along, already eyeing the apples to be harvested eagerly. "Go faster, go faster!"
