Consider the OP's question seriously for a moment. Imagine the Ponies in FiM were humans. Some have telekenesis, some can fly, and some are stronger than the other two categories. They have tools and live in an agrarian society that enjoys the benefits of science. Yet they use money to buy new hips, and still grow old and die by 60, and their life's occupation is chosen when they're in elementary.

Implying that each successive generation didn't make the ponies more sophisticate, unique and diversified with unicorns, pegasuses, and seaponies.
Implying they didn't create Celestia and Luna to control large numbers of ponies simultaneously, but didn't account for the biological AI to go rouge, causing Luna to all but destroy civilization until Celestia put her on the moon.
Implying Celestia isn't still following her original programming of controlling the ponies and attempting to preserve the vestiges of human society.
Implying that the season finale isn't going to have the ponies find a Vault full of human children that are the ancestors of the survivors of Luna as a way to incorporate human characters into the show.
