some clarifications on my stories glossary and information:
because some people seem to think the humans are using modern tech, id like to point out their driving trucks, not humvees, and their weapon level is more around world war 2, their only automatic weapon being mounted on the vehicle, and their rifles being bolt action.
as for the scarf color thing, its how they distinguish roles. blue is drivers and mechanics, green is RTO(radio telephone operator), red is heavy and special weapons, gold is leader and orange is rank-and-file. theres a few other colors but those are the most common.

Not even hating here, but she just doesn't seem to have much personality yet besides 'generic kindly teacher' and also she used to have 80s hair. There's almost nothing she can do that couldn't be just as effectively done by any other pony.
That said, if they gave Cheerilee a more definable personality, or had her show up in 80s clothes more often (DAT LEGWARMER), I would totally support that. But right now she's still pretty generic.

This kind of makes me want a spin off fiction, a new pony origin story that includes a new creature in the pantheon. You have Celestia as goddess of moon, Luna of night, and a third, mysterious creature who seemingly manipulates things for laughs.

Gah, I'm going way too far for this as someone who likes writing things. I envision a story, much like the second episode, against Nightmare Moon. But this bad guy is much more serious and the party keeps getting divided as they try to give Twilight a shot at the Big Bad. Only Twilight fails. Former McDonald's employee here (shut up, it was my first job, when I was 16.)

Technically, there is a set date for when Happy Meal toys come out, and those dates are on the website. However, in practice, many restaurants don't give a damn what the date they're supposed to start selling the toys is. The higher-ups rarely check that sort of thing anyway.

So some stores begin selling the toys as soon as they are shipped to them (which is always a week or two before the release date.) Other stores don't begin selling new toys until they are completely out of the old ones, that way there's less stuff to send back (which makes the store look better to the suits in corporate.)

Most stores, though, will begin selling on the appointed date, because it's just easier, and because that's when TV advertising for the toys begins (meaning kids will begin asking for those specific toys.)

In other words: The only way to know for sure is to ask!

McDonald's sells the toys separately if you ask. I think you need to talk to the manager but you can buy the entire set pretty cheap, like $1 each.

Just do that, but ask for the ponies AND whatever the boy toys are. That way you'll just look like someone who collects Happy Meal toys (which is arguably easier to explain than liking ponies if that bothers you so much). Sure the boy toys will maybe cost you an extra $6 or so, but it's better than spending $3 per Happy Meal to get each pony individually.

part one of my story cause fuck the noise

Chris Redfield had been battling his way through Umbrella corp. A place of strange sciences and pure
evil. While sneaking around avoiding any and all zombies, he found a strange room with a fantastic
piece of technology on it. the name plate said "teleporter" and was set to Equestria, wherever that
was. As he was turning around, a zombie was standing right behind him. he was startled into jumping
backwards into the teleporter and he was gone. but the virus he was trying to eradicate wasn't
he gained conciousness in a hospital with a large pair of eyes hovering over him. Chris inspected
what these eyes were connected to, only to find it was a blue pony with a rainbow mane and wings.
Chris rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallcuinating. and yet it was still there. "whew! that
was close! i thought you were a gonner from that fall! My name is Rainbow Dash!" "H-hi. my name is
Chris Redfield." in sudden alarm, Chris jumped out of bed and wielded his gun. "Where are the zombies!
