What I'm having trouble with at the moment is plot hooks. Pretty well. I had to mix up the rules a bit since a lot isn't covered by the rules we have. Mostly threw in some house rules I use for D&D. Over the years I've developed little transitional settings, since I like to throw in other rulesets into my campaigns.

A few months ago we were running D&D 4.0, and I threw in a surprise round of Blood Bowl as a Colosseum event.

If you find this letter then something really bad happened to me.

I know you meant well when you got Princess Luna to see me, but I'm really scared. Today when I got there I went to wait in the antechamber and Gilda was there! I cleared my throat to say hi but she glared at me and said, "Whoa. What's the stupid pony doing here?" It took me a second to figure out what to say but we were called in just then. Actually, I only really thought of what to say later, but even if I'd known I'd have still been too scared to say it. I'm a loser I guess.

Trixie was there and, like yesterday, she and Princess Luna dominated the conversation. Though they stopped to listen to Gilda when she wasted to say something, or usually growl or yell. It was a lot about of heady stuff, like politics, and Gilda had a lot to say. It seemed to make her really mad, but I think she liked being mad.

Once in a while, when no one else was looking, Gilda gave me mean stares. Sometimes she raised her talons to her eyes and then pointed them at me. Other times she just raised her middle claw at me. She mouthed words at me too but I can't read lips, and besides, she doesn't even HAVE lips.

When Trixie and Gilda went to powder their noses, or beak, Princess Luna asked me why I wasn't talking. I said I didn't know much about that stuff, but she made me admit that I was scared of Gilda. Then she said, "Do not worry. If she ever laid a claw on one of my ponies I'd personally buck her feathery hindquarters from here to St. Peterspur."

Still I don't know. Maybe Gilda would follow through where the manticore wouldn't. Maybe that's Princess Luna's plan. Make everypony not like me so they won't miss me after she feeds me to Gilda. But no, I still don't have a clue what the princess really wants from me. Unless it's to laugh at me like everypony else does.

I love these different apocalyptic scenarios about Equestria's past, they're Grimdark, but also hilarious.

Allow me to spin you a tale of an alternate interpretation of how Celestia came to power....

The true history of Equestria is not as gentle or as playful as it's current state would have you believe. The true origin, which has long been forgotten by everypony, is that Celestia conquered Earth. She observed the planet for an unknown amount of time and came to the conclusion that man would destroy themselves and their planet if she did not intervene.

So, much to the humans' surprise, Celestia descended to Earth and proclaimed herself Earth's new ruler. Many were skeptical and others still claimed such a thing was a hoax or a publicity stunt, for they had never seen anything like her. They had no idea how to comprehend a talking, flying, magical horse, really. She was only gentle and diplomatic for a short time before she grew impatient and gave humanity an ultimatum: Become her followers, or perish beneath the tides of history.

The smart ones who sided with her immediately became the first and only Unicorn Pegasuses, gifted with a small fraction of Celestia's might, but not her immortality. They would go on to become Celestia's ambassadors and aid Celestia in converting and judging the rest of the world. She insisted this was the only way she could save humanity from itself.

They worked to rebuild the world they had given up, but it would take a long time before they would recover even a fraction of the lost technology and knowledge they had more or less sacrificed to Celestia's peace.

The simple truth is that Celestia is a conqueror. One who travels the multi-verse seeking civilizations in need of her particular brand of peace. Once she finds a suitable location, she cleanses and converts the lands and their inhabitants and establishes a new Kingdom where she rules until she is able to train an apprentice powerful enough to take her seat on the throne. In Earth's case, Luna was to be this replacement, but despite Luna's immense talent and Celestia's training, she simply did not have the proper temperance to be Equestria's ruling Princess.

It took one-thousand years before another would candidate would prove herself worthy enough to take on Celestia's responsibilities. Once this new apprentice completes her lessons, Celestia will depart Equestria in search of a new world.

They also have the ability to make private forums on their where you can filter out the shit yourself. I myself am a member of a small "guild" of writefags in which we do original RP's and share our individual writings for constructive criticism. We all are in college now, but we still go their to share our writings with each other.

Most of the Gaia userbase will likely graduate to 4chan when they discover it/come of age.

Transforming humans into ponies can be done by some of them just because they LOOKED in Earth's general direction. Im not a writepony, but here is what I think Celestia really is.

Celestia and Luna are actually Superweapons created by some future government to fight wars singlehandedly. They went sentient and decided to destroy all mankind, and create a world to their liking. They are made of self repairing nanomachines, thats why they never age. The ponies are made of nanomachines too, albeit with a finite lifespan.
