[ The Subject of New Threads & The Generals ]

Please check the MLP:FiM Thread Locator and
Archive before going out and about and starting
a new thread. /co/ doesn't mind if we stay in
a general thread, but the biggest complaint I
see from them is that there are multiple threads.

A new general should not be made until the official
general is on the brink of autosaging into 404 hell,
or is at the image limit (150 pics). Once a new one
is established, it should be posted at the end of the
old general and everyone needs to herd themselves to
the next.

Obviously trolls & haters cannot be helped.

Well it's arguing about a hypothetical. There's no telling how the show COULD have turned out. The pilot two episodes may or may not be representative of how the rest of the series may have followed if Lauren was given more control.

What I can agree with though is that what we have now is actually really quite good all things considered. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but I went into it without expectations of any kind and an open mind and I was impressed. Sometimes you have to turn off the internet hype in your head and just watch or enjoy something for what it is. Sometimes that's really hard with shows like Wakfu (which I still haven't seen by the way) or other shows that have aired that get mixed criticism like regular show or adventure time.

Sometimes you have to sort of isolate yourself from internet opinions, since more often than not you're not going to get anything accurate from just 4chan. The most accurate litmus is going to be personal experience since your mileage will always vary and, with that said, you should always try things for yourself and really be free to expose yourself to a wider variety of things while listening to your OWN opinions first.
