Okay, I was just at a local theater thing called "No Shame" situated in Eugene, Oregon. It is basically a sort of amateur night thing, where people come up and do skits in five minutes or less.
The first skit of the night was called "Embarrassing Obsession". It had this young, tall, skinny twenty-something year old man and an older woman who is supposed to be his mother talking to each other, with the son asking for a favor. The mother asks what, and the son stumbles with his words and becomes nervous and she exclaims "Oh my god, you're gay." The son denied it, but noting "It's kind of like that, though." He then proceeds to ask for her to call the store to see if they had any My Little Ponies.
So a fake operator calls out backstage, and the mother at first starts asking about the MLP, but the son grabs the phone from her and goes on about how he is looking specifically for a Fluttershy playset, and rambles on about how she has a bunny named Angel and is the most adorable thing in existence. He goes on to reference her belonging to the "Friendship is Magic" line and openly expresses distaste in the "3.5 generation".
I must ask you /co/, who the fuck was the one that did this? I know it was one of you. It had to have been. |
