White Lipizanni horses have black skin.
Gray horses have black skin.
Other breeds have pink or tan or even white skin, but I'm not sure about the specifics.

I wouldn't exactly say 'depressed,' but not much ever seemed to make me happy with that feeling of warmth which spreads from the heart out to every finger and toe, every follicle and capillary. Inb4 that turns naughty.

Three or so days ago, I was perusing /gif/ (inasmuch as anyone 'peruses' /gif/), doing my normal routine of hunting down new amusing and pornographic .gif's to add to my collection, when I came across a .gif I'd never seen before. As it would turn out, this was a special .gif, one that will stick in my mind for a long time to come. Pic related.

"What the F is this?" I asked the darkness of my apartment bedroom, though of course it gave no answer. I watched as the loading bar filled--I always try to watch the loading bar instead of the image until it is fully loaded, in an effort to keep the .gif experience fresh and as pure as possible--and when it had finally loaded, I lifted my eyes, to be greeted by my first ever moving exposure to Pinkie Pie.

And I laughed.

I laughed at the innocence. I laughed at the silliness. I laughed with an unbridled mirth and a joy which was not saddled with my typical 'internet lurker' cynicism. I simply laughed.

Since then I've been watching MLP and for the first time presumably since my childhood enjoying something simply for what it is--not for what it means, or how it was made, or what standards it is up to. Simply for what it is. Only just today, a kind brony (did I use the term correctly?) linked me from the /gif/ thread to this one, and I thank you, whichever Anon you are, for that. Because the creativity and comraderie that I discovered residing here are like nothing else I've ever found; and in finding them, I've found the part of me that I lost somewhere along the way--maybe that I never had.

I'm home, everypony. I'm home.

If tl;dr: Sup guys, writefag here, I like MLP too.

Instead of creating a beautifully written ode to MLP and the lovely community, I'm just going to say that I'm here for the exact same reasons. I used to frequent an Animal Crossing forum with a similiar feeling and great sadness overtook me, when that exact feeling started to fade away. I'm very glad to have found MLP:FiM and it's great community.

We don't Hijack threads so much as migrate into them. We won't steal a thread that's pony related already.

We don't start new threads if it's not necessary, because that floods the board with pony threads and we've been trying to cut back on that. The average /co/ user can't tell the difference between a legit starter and a troll starter, so yeah. We usually take troll threads because it's fun to see their work backfire.

Also, as long as the image is posted in a thread, it doesn't matter if it's the beginning or not, it's still tracked.
