So bronies hear me out. I think that Applejack's bitchyness in "Winter Wrap Up" was justifiable. Think about it. Applejack is under a lot of stress to do her job and meet her deadline. She is also aware of the traditions of the Winter Wrap Up. So When Twilight Sparkle comes along and screws things up with magic its understandable that she would get pissed and take it out on the nearest pony to her. Applejack is a bit of perfectionist in her own way. Rather than sweating details like Rarity, she sees things as a big picture sort of thing. She wants a job done the right and proper way the first time so that she can meet deadlines. Twilight undoes a lot of hard work and because of that Applejack has the right to be pissed. So why all the hate of Applejack? Yes I did feel sorry for Twilight and yes I wanted to give her a hug through most of that episode.

'Sup guys. Just givin' a quick update on my progress on the VN project, since I haven't checked in for a while.

1) Statscreen remains unfinished until the Ren'Py guys fix a bug in their canvas system. Shouldn't be long now, since their next rmajor release is reportedly almost ready.

2) Meanwhile, I've been trying to map out Ponyville based on the various shots we get in different episodes. So far what I've got is something like:

Town Square - the area at the "front" of the town during the Applebuck Season stampedes. Has the Town Hall, a fountain, and a bridge leading out of Ponyville and along a road that eventually branches off into Everfree Forest. Also some tent-like buildings lining the far side of the square, including Rarity's boutique.

"Mane Street" - The "downtown" shopping district. Has a wishing well, the flower shop, and Sugarcube Corner. Seen prominently in Ep.9 where the gang is hiding from Zecora. Also reachable in the Adventures in Ponyville flash game.

"Stable Street" - Made-up minor street that I'm using to put residences in.

Cherilee Park - the park seen in Dragonshy and Swarm of the Century. Rarity's house is there. Has a fountain (definitely distinct from the Town Square one if overhead shots are to be believed) and is reachable in the Adventures in Ponyville flash game.

Sweet Apple Acres seems to be on the outskirts of town, in a different direction than the park or the Town Square.

I'll probably be sketching up a map when I get home.

Aww thanks! I think you give me too much credit though, I've only done like 8 pony pics. But yeah, it's really hard to keep track of drawbronies, there are so many. There are over a hundred members in the /co/ MLP deviantart group, which is quite a few!

Some other people that deserve mention are shuffle and bandit. Them two are in the flockdraw a lot. There's some other people that I see in the flockdraw but I can't remember their names right now!

How about Spikes crush on Rarity eventually drives Twilight to have a few words with the alabaster unicorn.. asking her to at least humour the little guy for one day.

So Rarity allows Spike to treat her to a day full of fun activities, a romantic dinner, and other, suitably dramatic gestures of his affections.

Of course, this being Spike, everything goes haywire, every meticulously planned event gets progressively more catastrophic as the entire day Spike planned for Rarity collapses around them.

The story concludes with Spike shyly escorting Rarity back to the Salon, upset over not showing her a good time... and apologising for being such a good

She kisses him on the cheek and tells him he's very sweet, although maybe he should wait until he's a little older

Rarity makes some excuses to leave the table for a while and secretely sits with the pony she likes, than makes other excuse and quickly returns to Spike's table. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the date, as Rarity does all kind of silly antics to keep the double date, while also tries her best to prevent Spike and the other pony to realize what she's up to.
At the end, Rarity realizes that the pony she had a crush on was an asshat, while Spike is cute, polite, and surprisingly deep for a baby dragon, so she starts pondering about waiting for Spike to get a bit older and then try again.

Railgunner and MS are the best drawponies in terms of speed of delivery and art quality. Empty10 does fantastic on-model work which is reposted constantly. Weeapony also contributes often and is really good.

No-Ink is pretty dismal in terms of quality, as his art is only seen when trolls are spamming poorly drawn pony porn. We have a few other nameless drawponies that pop in and out that are excellent along with other named artists that I can't immediately recall.

Yeah Applebuck is really tip-top when it comes to drawing on-model ponies. I was struggling to remember her name, but I couldn't.

Mocha's original pony is one of the only ones I really enjoy. I do like that new one that got posted twice of late by somebody else though. I think that pony's name was Rainy Day or something similar.

As the Ursa Major's lifeless body struck the ground, a small earthquake rocked the town. Street signs toppled, and some rooftops buckled from the tremor, but Ponyville was safe.

The light faded from Twilight's eyes. She glared wrathfully at the lifeless mountain of flesh and fur, panting hard. "Nobody... NOTHING threatens MY HOME and MY FRIENDS!"

She turned around and wandered back into town to offer what assistance she could, stepping over and around steaming chunks of flesh. "Awfully sorry about the mess..."

It was just off the top of my head, and then somebrony said write moar, and I was like wait a minute, Twilight killed Ursa mommy. There's Ursa babby wandering around in the woods with no mommy bear.

I went out and ate a veggie wrap, came home, and my browser had crashed. Restarted browser, thread 404. So I requested the story, someone posted it, and someone asked if I typed the story right in the comment field to reply. And now I'm explaining it.
